2/8/24 San Antonio, TX – Commercial Ambulance Stolen – Recovered On The Side Of The Road – Suspect In Custody

Authorities responded to a call earlier Thursday morning where a stolen commercial ambulance was recovered on the Westside.

The San Antonio Police Department stated they recovered a stolen commercial ambulance near the 9100 block of Laguna Falls around 11:00 a.m.

The stolen ambulance, believed to be privately owned, was found empty upon arrival. Medical supplies were still present, but there were no signs of forced entry.

Authorities confirmed that the call was initiated by a resident who noticed the unfamiliar ambulance. The suspect, described as a man in his 20s, is currently in custody pending further investigation.
