The Lancaster Fire Department asked residents over the last few days to be on the lookout for a now-located stolen pickup truck belonging to the Bellevue Fire Company in Cheektowaga. The vehicle was taken from the firehall during an overnight burglary and later spotted in both Cheektowaga and Buffalo.

The department shared an alert Thursday urging the public to watch for the truck and to contact Cheektowaga Police immediately with any information.

According to a Cheektowaga Police Department news release, officers were notified around 9:30 a.m. March 19 that a truck owned by the Bellevue Fire Department, located at 511 Como Park Blvd. in the Town of Cheektowaga, had been stolen sometime overnight.

The truck was reportedly seen on William Street in Cheektowaga and in Buffalo’s Lovejoy neighborhood.
