A Memphis woman is facing charges in St. Francis County after allegedly stealing an ambulance from the Forrest City Medical Center. The incident occurred last Thursday night.

The Forrest City Police Department was alerted that an ambulance was missing from the hospital. A state trooper located the stolen vehicle headed west on Interstate 40 in Monroe County.

The ambulance was stopped by a pit maneuver and the suspect fled on foot. She was captured and arrested.

Tamra Larue, 37, faces several charges and was formally arraigned on the charges Monday. She is now in the St. Francis County Detention Center in Forrest City.
