2/23/26 College Station, TX – Woman Steals Ambulance From St. Joseph’s Hospital – Police Chase Down Rt. 6 – Arrested

A Navasota woman was taken into custody after stealing an ambulance and leading police on a short chase.

College Station police officers were notified early Monday morning that a patient had stolen an ambulance at CHI St. Joseph Hospital on Rock Prairie Road, according to a department Facebook post.

Working with EMS dispatch and GPS information from the vehicle, CSPD said officers were able to locate the ambulance headed south on Highway 6 towards Navasota.

Following a short pursuit, authorities said Jamisha Williams was taken into custody.

She has been charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
