Man arrested after stealing ambulance from Vanderbilt

A person accused of stealing an ambulance is on the run on Monday, according to Cabell County EMS.

Cabell County EMS Director Gordon Merry said medics were on a call when the ambulance was stolen from a recovery home on Monday morning.

The incident was caught on a dash camera, officials said.

No injuries were reported.

There was minor damage to the ambulance, Merry tells WSAZ.com.
