A suspect has been arrested after he stole a fire truck from the Sacramento Fire Department.

The truck was a red F-150 that belonged to the EMS Captain. Police remained in pursuit of the truck until it was disabled by a spike strip.

The incident ended in a standoff with the Sacramento Police when the suspect refused to exit the disabled vehicle. After shooting pepper balls into the vehicle, they successfully apprehended the suspect and took him into custody.
