7/1/20 Birmingham, AL – Regional Paramedical Service (RPS) Ambulance Was Stolen From East Glen Rehab – Went Off The Road In Trussville, AL – Suspect Arrested

According to the Trussville Police Department, an ambulance was stolen from a Birmingham nursing home on Wednesday around 5:00 p.m.

The ambulance was later found in Trussville after its GPS coordinates were sent to authorities by the ambulance company.

While on the way to where the ambulance was reported, Trussville Police said they received reports of a man attempting to flag down cars on Interstate 59.

Once evidence was reviewed, police said the male was arrested in connection with the theft and the ambulance was returned.
