One man is in custody after a Toronto paramedic vehicle was stolen on Wednesday afternoon.
Police confirm that officers were in pursuit of the vehicle which was taken near the intersection of Spadina Avenue and Dundas Street just after 3:30 p.m. The pursuit travelled west along Dundas and culminated in an arrest being made near the intersection of Dundas and Victoria streets.
A Paramedic Response Unit with a flat left front tire and minor damage to the driver’s side of the vehicle could be seen surrounded by almost a dozen police cruisers.
Police say no one was injured in the incident.
